The big questions

IS IT REALLY SO IMPORTANT TO STOP GLOBAL WARMING?
Yes, because if we want a perfect life for our kids, we need a perfect Earth. And if we create this problem, we must solving it.

DID WE BETRAY THE PLANET OR DID THE PLANET BETRAY US?
First, we betray the planet with our pollution gases and the contamination. Now, the planet is betraying us for avenging.

Stop and think...

"You look at that river gently flowing by. You notice the leaves rustling with the wind. You hear the birds; you hear the tree frogs. In the distance you hear a cow. You feel the grass. The mud gives a little bit on the river bank. It’s quiet; it’s peaceful. And all of a sudden, it’s a gear shift inside you. And it’s like taking a deep breath and going, 'Oh yeah, I forgot about this'.”— Al Gore in the opening monologue of An Inconvenient Truth

Take action

Enumerate five things you can do to save the planet:

Using your own cloth bag instead of plastic or paper bags reduces waste and requires no additional energy.
Shut off your computer when not in use, and save 200 lbs of C02.Conserve energy by using your computer's "sleep mode" instead of a screensaver.
Even when electronic devices are turned off, they use energy. Save over 1,000 lbs of carbon dioxide and $256 per year.
Idling wastes money and gas, and generates pollution and global warming causing emissions. Except when in traffic, turn your engine off if you must wait for more than 30 seconds.
Showers account for 2/3 of all water heating costs. Save 350 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $99 per year.

Awards

Can you name some of the most important awards it received?
Yes, it received a Nobel prize of the peace, a Príncipe de Asturias prize and an Oscar.
